The primary function of this position is to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections. As a Service Sales Rep, you will be responsible for establishing contact with prospects, qualifying potential buyers, and developing positive ongoing relationships with customers. You will determine customer needs, develop sales strategies to meet sales plan objectives, and close sufficient sales. The role also involves maintaining an active proposal backlog, conducting building surveys for estimates, maintaining accurate records of sales activities, and submitting required reports. Additionally, you will support the service department by generating leads for service or equipment/device upgrades.
