About The Position

Job Description We are seeking a Service Representative to join our HTK team. In this role, you will provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to financial professionals, their assistants, and Field Offices regarding 1847Financial | HTK products, services, and processes. This is a customer-focused position that emphasizes responsiveness, learning, and collaboration. You will contribute to building strong service relationships while developing your expertise in HTK operations, policies, and systems. We’ve embraced a flexible, hybrid approach to work. Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other standard office tools
  • Interest in developing a deeper understanding of financial services and HTK platforms
  • Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
  • Collaborative and willing to learn from others
  • Highly attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1–3 years of customer service experience, ideally in financial services or a professional services setting

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to or interest in brokerage operations, Pershing platforms, or NetExchange Pro a plus
  • Experience with DST Vision a plus
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Series 99 license not required but encouraged over time

Responsibilities

  • Provide phone and email support to HTK Financial Professionals, assistants, and Field Office personnel in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain service standards for responsiveness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver accurate information about HTK business processing, forms, and requirements
  • Assist in tracking service inquiries and ensuring timely communication back to the field
  • Educate financial professionals and assistants on the use of self-service tools, such as clearing firm platforms and proprietary websites
  • Support adherence to HTK policies and procedures by explaining basic operational processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service requests and inquiries
  • Escalate complex or unusual issues to senior team members as needed
  • Contribute to team initiatives and participate in learning opportunities
  • Complies with all company and site policies and procedures
  • Remains current in profession and industry trends
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
