About The Position

The Service Representative plays a critical, hands-on role in supporting surgical procedures by managing and operating Medworks’ medical lasers and equipment throughout the perioperative process. This position is primarily based in operating rooms and clinical environments, where precision, professionalism, and responsiveness are essential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings. They are confident interacting with physicians and surgical teams, capable of troubleshooting equipment in real time, and committed to delivering a high standard of service that directly impacts patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Install, set up, and test medical lasers and equipment prior to surgical procedures
  • Operate Medworks-owned equipment during procedures to ensure safe and effective use
  • Perform maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting to maintain equipment functionality
  • Provide real-time technical support in the operating room to ensure procedures run smoothly
  • Assist physicians and surgical staff with proper equipment use during procedures
  • Respond promptly to questions and technical needs in high-pressure environments
  • Provide guidance and training to healthcare professionals on safe and accurate equipment use
  • Track and manage equipment and disposable inventory assigned to you
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment usage, procedures, repairs, and modifications
  • Ensure proper documentation for billing and clinical records
  • Maintain a laser-safe and compliant operating room environment
  • Follow all hospital and Medworks policies, including infection control, aseptic technique, and patient privacy standards
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and facility credentialing requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff
  • Collaborate effectively with internal Medworks teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Represent Medworks with professionalism in all clinical and customer interactions
