The position involves assisting the Manager of Social Services with admissions, making discharge referrals, contacting families and residents with admission information, and providing tours to families and residents. Additionally, the secretary fulfills secretarial duties for the Social Services department, which include completing DSS-3559 forms, scheduling RCC meetings, ordering office supplies, and maintaining Resident and Family Council minutes. The role also requires meeting with families and patients to complete the admission packet and demonstrating SPHCS Standards of Behavior. The position is per diem, working for registration every other weekend and a couple of days as needed during weekdays.
