As part of a collaborative team of versatile professionals focused on data, data pipelines and capabilities on the AWS data platform for Lilly Research and Development, you will be responsible for system reliability and resiliency meeting dynamic and high Quality and Regulatory standards, assuring and improving operational and data capabilities. You have a passion for collaboratively assessing, prioritizing, driving and implementing operational improvements and solutions, continuously learning, guiding and elevating teams for improved operations, metrics and stakeholder experiences. You will capitalize on automation and AI opportunities to reduce manual effort and operational incidents and risks, and improve operations. You have strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills and are adaptable to changing circumstances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT service delivery, data engineering or software development lifecycle roles.
  • Proven experience in managing validated systems and compliance processes.
  • Strong background in Service Management.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps quality, project management and software development approaches.
  • Depth of AWS experiences.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
  • Strong understanding of tech to gather data and problem solve.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, service management frameworks, quality and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.
  • Deep understanding and prior experience leading the support of GxP systems.
  • System Custodianship experience.
  • Experience in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies such as spark, pyspark.
  • Experience in microservice system design and cloud performance design.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Github.
  • Experience with ITIL v4 processes and tools.
  • Experience with vendor management and third-party service oversight.
  • Familiarity with tools like HP ALM.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) and JIRA.
  • Experience in reliability engineering and monitoring practices.
