About The Position

Join the freije Team! We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems, particularly in supermarkets, cold storage, commercial, and industrial sites.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration/freezer systems.
Knowledge of Novar, CPC, Danfoss Energy Management Controls, and Rack Refrigeration.
Proficiency in HVAC systems, including package units and split systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
EPA certification required.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems, including supermarkets, single systems, parallel racks, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and microprocessor control systems.
Conduct leak detection procedures and ensure system efficiency.
Provide exceptional customer service through timely and high-quality repairs.
Maintain detailed service records with photos and notes.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
