About The Position

The position involves rendering aid, assistance, and information services to park visitors while protecting and preserving the land and facilities of the Park District. The role includes enforcing Park District rules and regulations as well as the laws of the State of Ohio. Additionally, the position requires performing a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled labor jobs in maintenance and related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Peace Officer Training certification
• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• Education and work experience in the field of natural resources (preferred)
• One year’s experience in law enforcement (park-related experience preferred) or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age
• Subject to an extensive background investigation
• Available to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
• Must satisfactorily complete a background check
• Non-tobacco user
