About The Position
A Porter is responsible for moving and parking cars and ensuring a tidy service department. This role involves managing vehicle flow in the service drive, assisting service advisors with tasks such as tracking keys, cleaning cars, and driving vehicles from service stalls. The porter ensures customer vehicles are ready for return after service repairs, maintains cleanliness of the parking lot, service stalls, and other vehicle areas, and may back up the shuttle driver. The position requires servicing customer needs with a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license and must be 21 years of age
- Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle flow in service drive
- Work with service advisor to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, cleaning cars, driving vehicles from service stalls, following dealership display standards, fielding customer requests, and other assigned duties
- Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs
- Clean parking lot, service stalls, and other vehicle areas when needed
- Back up shuttle driver
- Service customer needs with a positive attitude
