Automotive Service Valet The Automotive Service Valet/Porter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting with the efficient operation of the service department. This role involves greeting customers, transporting vehicles safely, maintaining dealership appearance, and supporting service staff to ensure a premium experience consistent with luxury automotive standards.

Requirements

  • Shifts vary. Dealership Operates Monday – Saturday and scheduling may require weekends before/after business hours.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer
  • All applicants must have a current and valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and must be insurable under our garage-keepers policy standards
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic mathematical skills using American units of measure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Abide by company dress code and personal appearance standards
  • Uniform may be required.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Familiarity with luxury vehicle brands and customer service expectations
  • Previous valet, porter, or automotive dealership experience

Responsibilities

  • Greet service customers promptly and courteously upon arrival
  • Assist with vehicle check-in and direct customers to appropriate service personnel
  • Safely drive, park, and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles, assisting technicians and advisors with moving vehicles through the service process
  • Maintain organization of the service drive, parking areas, and vehicle inventory
  • Keep service areas clean, orderly, and presentable at all times
  • Perform vehicle inspections for damage and document findings as needed
  • Wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery when required
  • Shuttle customers and/or their vehicles to and from home, work, or other destinations as needed
  • Ensure all customer vehicles are handled with care and professionalism
  • Proactively communicate potential issues to provide the best possible customer experience
  • All associates should abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
