About The Position

Polestar of San Diego Automotive Service Drive Assistant Essential Duties: Vehicle movement: Moving cars between different areas of the lot, including the showroom, service department, and customer pickup areas, in a timely manner. Lot organization: Arranging vehicles on the lot in a visually appealing manner to attract potential buyers. Basic maintenance: Performing light cleaning tasks like wiping down exteriors, vacuuming interiors, and checking tire pressure. Charging vehicles: Ensuring cars have adequate charge levels. Customer support: Assisting customers with loading and unloading belongings from vehicles. Inventory management: Keeping track of vehicle locations and ensuring accurate inventory records. Assist in stocking in new vehicles. PDI preparation/post vehicle repair verification: Removal of all plastic and shipping materials. After the completion of a repair, drive the vehicle up to 25-30 miles to confirm the repair was completed. Delivery preparation: Cleaning and detailing vehicles before customer pickup. Loaner car tasks: Provide exceptional customer service, smile and always be friendly. Make sure when cars are returned, they are in the same condition as when they were loaned out. Maintain the loaner fleet clean and always charged before checking it out. Ensure loaner vehicles are filled with all fluids such as, washer fluid.. Ensure loaner vehicle exterior and interior are presentable to meet clients’ expectations of the Company. Coordinate shuttles with the shuttle driver and/or greeter personnel. Ensure loaner vehicles are readily available by keeping one on the service drive and staging others in an appropriate area. Misc Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a high degree of courtesy. No eating and/or drinking while working on site outside the designated break rooms. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. Must maintain a clean and professional work area at all times. Maintain punctuality and good attendance, must be ready to go at the time of your scheduled shift as well as you and must follow meal period guidelines. Also assist in any additional tasks asked of you by your Manager’s. Facility Duties: Empty waste bins daily. Maintain customer lounge snacks and coffee bar to ensure they are stocked and clean. Maintain the bathroom cleanliness including sweeping daily as well as a weekly mop.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE EXCELLENT DRIVING RECORD AND CALIFORNIA DRIVER LICENSE
  • MUST SPEAK ENGLISH
