About The Position

McCarthy Hyundai- Blue Springs is seeking a Full Time Service Porter/Detailer. This is an entry level position with opportunity to advance within the dealer group. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with variety in daily duties, including providing shuttle service, checking in loaner vehicles, preparing service vehicles, maintaining the building's appearance, and expediting vehicle delivery.

• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing shuttle service to customers as needed
• Help with checking in loaner vehicles that have returned, ensuring they are filled with gas and clean for the next customer
• Vacuum vehicle, install disposable seat covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all the vehicles taken in for service
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the parking lot
• Maintain inside and outside appearance of the building, taking out trash, keeping shop floors swept and clean
• Expediting vehicle delivery to customers and technicians
• Time management and the ability to multitask
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks
• Wash vehicles
• Performs other duties as assigned
