About The Position
The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, drains, and fixtures in various structures. The role requires understanding and following blueprints or building plans, as well as adhering to current plumbing regulations to ensure systems pass inspection on the first attempt. Additionally, the position entails keeping detailed records of time spent on jobs and materials purchased, preparing and delivering estimated costs or bids to customers in a professional manner, and responding to plumbing emergencies by diagnosing issues and making necessary repairs. Regular maintenance of plumbing systems is also a key responsibility to prevent emergencies.
