About The Position

Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision. We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our Distribution business in Elko, CA. We offer competitive pay and benefits! Will make an impact in the following ways: Assist Distribution Business customers, technicians, and internal personnel in identifying and securing required parts and supplies Perform customer parts counter duties including receiving calls, greeting walk-in customers, completing paperwork, and processing cash, check, and credit card transactions Utilize systems, catalogs, and technical knowledge to accurately identify, source, and procure parts in a cost- and time-efficient manner Support technicians and parts personnel with complex parts requests by leveraging hands-on equipment and field service experience Maintain accurate records and documentation related to parts transactions, inventory, and core processing Maintain a clean, organized customer parts area and warehouse environment Identify opportunities to upsell supporting products and services based on customer needs Comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and use required personal protective equipment Perform additional parts-related duties including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse activities as assigned Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
