About The Position

The Service Operations Associate (Warranty & Repair Service Representative) performs a wide variety of material handling, operational, and administrative functions to ensure the timely and successful processing of Warranty & Repair claims. S/he serves as the primary focal point for all incoming, in-process, and outgoing material and units to be serviced and is responsible to accomplish the daily goods movement flow efficiently. S/he performs initial inspections upon arrival of units to be serviced, maintaining records of damaged goods and discrepancies by taking pictures and notes; investigates and resolves issues such as unit damage, shortages, and non-conformance; generates sales and work orders; verifies all units have accurate and appropriate identification tags, documentation and paperwork; records and scans all paperwork into designated electronic files; prepares, sorts, and identifies correct part numbers, customers, account status and designated repair station and allocates appropriately. S/he is responsible to distribute shipments to the correct OEM/Repair Station upon arrival; reconcile waybill information and freight amount; prepare parts for final shipment, and confirm pricing on sales orders and invoices upon approval. S/he reports all in house materials daily to the Account Administrator. Overall, this role is a critical hub of organization, logistics and efficient operational throughput for the Warranty & Repair process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 Year of Related Work Experience
  • Material Handling Safety and Equipment Operation
  • Basic Typing and Computer Proficiency
  • Basic Counting, Sequence Identification and Matching, and Math Skills
  • Visual Inspection
  • Shipping & Receiving

Responsibilities
