About The Position

The position serves as a technical expert in optimizing and leveraging ServiceNow best practices, focusing on configuration versus customization. The role involves supporting engagement efforts such as process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders. The candidate will advise customers on utilizing ServiceNow's standard capabilities to enhance their processes, lead design workshops, guide documentation efforts, draft user stories, and provide oversight and training for future system administrators. Additionally, the role includes leading technical aspects of project delivery, developing integration components, enhancing UI and mobile components, and preparing customer-facing deliverables while promoting continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
  • At least 3+ years of configuration/development experience in complex, global organizations in Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Source-to-Pay operations/technology departments.
  • Preferably at least 2+ years of configuring/developing ServiceNow with relevant certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult in Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Source-to-Pay organizations.
  • Strong understanding of leading Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Source-to-Pay related systems and tools.
  • Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
  • Proven experience in team management and software project execution.
  • Solid technical knowledge in package applications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert in optimizing and leveraging ServiceNow best practices.
  • Support engagement efforts such as process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis.
  • Advise customers on utilizing ServiceNow's standard capabilities.
  • Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and Solution technology.
  • Guide customers in completing required documentation such as business requirement workbooks.
  • Draft technically-focused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide ad-hoc oversight/training for the customer's future system administrators.
  • Lead technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery.
  • Develop required integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) with multiple systems.
  • Develop and enhance UI and mobile components using the ServiceNow framework.
  • Prepare all customer-facing deliverables focused on technology.
  • Juggle multiple and complex projects/initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement practices for delivery/engagement materials.
  • Support specific sales activities when required.
  • Provide training and mentoring to other members of the ServiceNow delivery team.
