About The Position

The ServiceNow ITOM, SAM, HAM - Discovery and Service Mapping Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient operations in asset discovery, service visibility, troubleshooting, and maintaining the health of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role involves managing software vendors, contracts, and licenses within ServiceNow's Software Asset Management (SAM) module, ensuring compliance across the organization, and auditing CMDB data. The specialist will also create reports and dashboards to track asset performance and service dependencies.

Requirements

• Experience with maintaining MID Servers.
• Proficiency in CMDB and modules ITSM, ITOM, ITAM.
• Strong skills in SQL queries, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Python, and Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools and data sources using APIs, SCCM, web services, and connectors.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and implementing ServiceNow for cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency in writing custom scripts to automate ServiceNow workflows and improve discovery accuracy.
• Must be a US Citizen.

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and implementing ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for cloud-based infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network topologies, firewalls, security protocols, and their impact on Discovery and Service Mapping configurations.
