As a ServiceNow Developer, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks crucial to the optimal functioning and expansion of our ServiceNow platform, particularly within the FedRAMP environment. You will play a key role in enabling new modules and functionalities, ensuring that our ServiceNow instance remains at the forefront of technological advancements and aligns with our evolving business needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting enhancements to existing modules, optimizing their performance, and resolving any issues that may arise. A significant aspect of your role will involve developing integrations that leverage both new and existing platform APIs. This will require a deep understanding of ServiceNow's API framework and the ability to create seamless connections between ServiceNow and other critical business systems. Furthermore, you will be tasked with maintaining our ServiceNow FedRAMP environment, ensuring its compliance with stringent security requirements and implementing necessary controls to safeguard sensitive data. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also develop scoped applications that integrate between ServiceNow and other enterprise business systems. This will involve designing and building custom applications that bridge the gap between ServiceNow and external platforms, facilitating data exchange and workflow automation. Your expertise will be essential in creating a cohesive and efficient technology ecosystem that supports our business operations and drives innovation.

  • Manage and maintain ServiceNow instances in compliance with FedRAMP security requirements and standards
  • Implement and enforce security controls, access management policies, and monitoring procedures to ensure data protection and confidentiality
  • Develop and support the integration of 3rd party systems with ServiceNow
  • Create and maintain API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other services
  • Develop scoped applications that will utilize all of the ServiceNow's platform functionality
  • Participate in creating and developing standards, best practices, support guidelines and procedures
  • Work closely with security teams to remediate findings, implement security patches, and ensure timely resolution of security incidents
  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the development, configuration, implementation and support of production and non-production ServiceNow instances
  • Experience with ServiceNow architecture and key modules - Asset Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog/Service Portal
  • Experience with Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, SOAP, JSON, XML and Web Services
  • Experience with general purpose programming languages including Java, J2EE, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL and JS Libraries and Framework
  • Experience with both ITIL and ITSM disciplines
  • Demonstrated use and management of APIs
  • Knowledge of infrastructure services spanning servers, storage, network, security, and cloud
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to contribute to and lead projects following Agile methodology
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute
  • Ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary
  • Knowledge of AI and ML capabilities
  • Hands on experience in implementing ITOM discovery Service Mapping
  • Hands on experience with Employee Center Portal and Integrated Risk Management modules
