We are seeking a Developer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience as the lead technical resource.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with JavaScript or an equivalent language.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented languages like Java and Python.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with API-based data sources.
  • ServiceNow certification.
  • Experience testing web-based applications – both manual and automated.
  • Experience with functional, regression and load/performance testing.
  • Experience with relational databases.

Responsibilities

  • Create logical and functional software code within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop software solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Possess a basic understanding of object-oriented languages like JavaScript, Java, and Python.
  • Lead the development of solutions in client environments.
  • Develop web-based applications.
  • Upgrade ServiceNow versions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
  • Perform peer code reviews.
  • Ensure the ServiceNow team follows software development best practices.
  • Share ServiceNow best practices and consult throughout the technical design.
  • Utilize ServiceNow expertise to create and implement workflows into applications.
  • Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complete projects independently and within a team environment.
  • Create and promote update sets throughout the SDLC.
  • Work with customers and other stakeholders to define clear and acceptable requirements for design documentation.
  • Participate daily within an Agile/SCRUM team.
