About The Position

The Service Manager is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about business improvement with proven management experience in developing and maintaining a cohesive team. The Service Manager role will serve as a leadership capacity for a major commercial food service equipment repair company. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of Leadership experience, knowledge of P&L, and a strong record of employee retention.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years or more of successful profit center management experience.
  • Regional/Restaurant Management is a plus.
  • P&L experience.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Administration and Management skills.
  • Operational Accounting knowledge.
  • Technology and Engineering knowledge.
  • Production and Process knowledge.
  • Sales and Marketing experience and/or knowledge.
  • Mechanical & Technical knowledge/understanding.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Documentation skills.
  • Complex Problem-Solving ability.
  • Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Field service management, scheduling, and dispatching.
  • Developing personal relationships with equipment dealers and manufacturer’s representatives.
  • Promotes and secures PM sales and directly manages key accounts.
  • Control costs.
  • Monitor emergency service calls.
  • Follows safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.
  • Ensures that staff members are trained and understand rules and procedures relating to health and safety.
  • Develops and maintains a productive work team by utilizing programs for hiring, training, and professional development.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the VP of Service Operations.
