About The Position

The Service Manager is responsible for managing service scheduling, invoicing, costing, posting, and administrative workflow for residential, light commercial, and generator operations. This role oversees service documentation, maintains pricing and inventory records, processes billing, and supports field technicians through accurate paperwork management and job tracking.

  • Familiarity with service scheduling platforms and inventory tracking

Responsibilities

  • Manage service scheduling for technicians, ensuring efficient assignment and customer updates.
  • Maintain and update old work service forms.
  • Complete service invoicing, including costing and posting of completed service jobs.
  • Process invoicing, costing, and posting for residential and miscellaneous commercial service jobs.
  • Maintain and update residential stock prices.
  • Perform new home costing and posting of completed homes.
  • Maintain the generator customer database.
  • Process monthly generator invoicing.
  • Manage generator inventory, including ordering and stock control.
  • Support generator service scheduling and documentation.
  • Manage Builder Certificates of Insurance (COI), ensuring required documentation is current and distributed.
  • Track materials and labor to ensure accurate job costing.
  • Coordinate car lot maintenance tasks and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to service, residential, and generator teams as needed.
