This role is responsible for managing portable and pre-engineered services, sprinkler testing and inspection services, and fire alarm services, with a focus on effective implementation and customer retention.

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Oversee installation and upgrade projects for fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, fire sprinklers, and fire alarms in commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client requirements.
  • Serve as primary liaison with building engineers, property managers, and site contacts to communicate project status and resolve issues.
  • Manage inspection and maintenance programs, including testing and repair of fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, fire sprinklers, and fire alarms to guarantee operational readiness.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by developing and enforcing inspection protocols aligned with local and national fire codes.
  • Review and approve detailed inspection reports, providing guidance and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Monitor team performance and project timelines, ensuring work is completed efficiently and reported promptly.
  • Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • 2 - 3 years' experience with commercial and residential systems.
  • High School Diploma or Technical school certificate preferred.
  • Requires the ability to act in a lead capacity and manage teams or groups of individuals on projects (managerial experience preferred).
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
  • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from the office or job site.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignments.
  • NICET certification and knowledge of NFPA standards (including 70 and 72) preferred.
