About The Position

Join the Team ! O’Connor Plumbing, a family-owned company serving the DC Metro area since 1949, is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Manager to lead and support our commercial team. About the Role Coordinates and supports field supervisors, ensuring effective commercial plumbing services and customer satisfaction. Works independently on complex issues and reports to the CS Field Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with CS Field Manager to report task highlights (office, phone call or in the field).
  • Meet w/ Quality Control person to go over jobs from day before and current day.
  • Meet with all supervisors (Huddle) to review daily accomplishments (office, phone, Teams or in the field)
  • Assign supervisors to all larger more difficult jobs.
  • Confirm material and equipment are correct, ordered, and available before the jobs begin.
  • Assign estimates to supervisors and follow up for timely completion.
  • Review all estimates and awarded jobs to confirm labor, material, and equipment accuracy.
  • Be available for field team members who may have issues with their supervisor.
  • Monitor Contract scheduling.
  • Maintain and monitor a rental log of all equipment, require supervisor accountability.
