About The Position

Chariot Automotive Group is seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead the service department at their Academy CDJR location in Tipton, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with Stellantis brands (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) and a passion for building high-performing teams. Requirements

  • Prior Service Manager experience with CDJR brands
  • Strong knowledge of dealership service operations, warranty, and fixed ops performance
  • Proven leadership ability with a track record of improving productivity and profitability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (Tekion experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the service department operations
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service experience
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics (RO count, labor sales, ELR, CSI, etc.)
  • Hire, train, and develop service advisors and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and warranty processes
  • Work closely with parts and sales departments to maximize dealership performance
  • Maintain a positive, accountable, and team-focused culture
