About The Position

Lint-X is seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and dependable Service Manager to lead our Service Division from our Patterson, NY office. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing field operations, project coordination, technician supervision, HR matters, safety, training, fleet oversight, and purchasing. The Service Manager will work in close daily proximity to the Owner, so the ability to maintain a smooth, respectful, and highly responsive working relationship is critical. This role requires someone who is coachable, adaptable, tech-savvy, and aligned with company leadership. Until departments within the division are established, this person will hold all service-related duties from above and act as the point of accountability for the entire division.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations for the Service Division
  • Supervise and support field technicians across cleaning, repair and installation
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and customer service for all job types
  • Ensure technician appearance, vehicles, tools, and equipment meet brand standards
  • Review field documentation and implement quality control systems
  • Train and mentor apprentices and existing team members
  • Build and implement systems that improve productivity and accountability
  • Manage purchasing of tools, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure techs are equipped and supplies are tracked appropriately
  • Handle all hiring, onboarding, terminations, absence management, and disciplinary action
  • Conduct 30-day one-on-ones and quarterly reviews with service division staff
  • Review and manage requests for raises or compensation adjustments
  • Oversee service fleet operations including: Vehicle safety and routine cleaning and maintenance
  • Legal compliance: NYS registration, inspection renewals
  • Field staff adherence to fleet use policies
  • Assist with Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests and coordination when needed
