Role Summary Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to oversee our service department. The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable operations while maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction. More about the role Manage and lead the service department team, including Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and service operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the service department provides a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the Service Director to set performance goals for the service team and monitor progress, providing coaching and feedback to ensure objectives are met.
  • Ensure that the service department complies with all regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage the department budget, analyze financial data, and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
