About The Position

Wastequip WRX Division is looking to hire a Service Manager for our Pacific, WA location. In this role the successful candidate will Manage a team of Technicians that will work on Streetsweepers, Vacs and Refuse trucks. In most cases the trucks will be providing warranty support, and repair to independent haulers who need work done on the trucks. This is a full-time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 (based on experience). Description Summary of essential job functions Manager the service department which includes, the service scheduler and technicians Leading, coaching, and developing direct reports Championing a safety-first culture Financial responsibility for entire operation, including Developing annual operating plans and other financial reports Tracking throughput for on time delivery and work to meet customer’s requirements Controlling, monitoring, and adjusting inventory levels and staffing as required to meet current market conditions and forecasted plans Supporting sales department in meeting customer’s delivery requirements Communicate with customers on site and/or at customer sites. Work with intercompany team partners to cross sell. Work with intercompany team partners to solve customer issues or repair needs or warranty. Ideal Candidate Attributes Cross-functional, dynamic leader with a strong bias toward delivering results and providing customers with the highest level of service possible including following up on any and all open issues and driving those to completion Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment, and effective interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Knowledge and ability to discuss aspects in the field of HD maintenance, Service and repair and form a plan with customer and/or site team. Ability to inspect HD refuse equipment on customer site. Have Knowledge or hands on experience in the field of Welding, Auto Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Components. Qualification: Experience in Body Parts, Suspensions, and Chassis in the heavy-duty parts industry. 5+ years of experience in Management. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience using ERP Systems and Microsoft Office programs (Excel).
