About The Position

This Service Manager role is a key leadership position within local Terminix branches, focusing on leading and motivating Pest Technician Teams to deliver outstanding service to residential customers. The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Terminix, a member of the Rentokil family of companies, is a global leader in Pest Control with over 85 years of experience, safeguarding more than 3 million homes and businesses.

Requirements

  • An associate’s degree
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate others
  • Strong communications skills – impersonal, written, presenting
  • Good at problem solving and coming up with practical solutions
  • Ability to build rapport easily and establish trust with customers and employees
  • Detailed oriented and understand the importance of safety
  • Good aptitude for basic/intermediate math-- necessary for doing calculations related to sales and service
  • Comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • A four year degree is highly desirable
  • Having 1-2 years of related experience is very helpful, but not required
  • Willingness to relocate is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating local Pest Technician Teams to provide outstanding service delivery of Terminix products to valued customers
  • Monitoring branch scheduling and ensuring pest tech routes are successfully completed
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met or exceeded
  • Responding to customer concerns, including resolving cancellation requests
  • Inspecting and evaluating the performance of Pest Technicians
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of pest control products
  • Facilitating continual training of local sales and service teams
