About The Position

Project a positive, helpful and professional attitude to our customer. Meet or exceed the customer expectation of repair at all times. Review daily operating control report. Maintain a daily control sheet of repair orders for reference. Review open repair order report weekly. Comply with all safety requirements set forth. Hire and dismiss service department personnel as required. Maintain the proper level of personnel to achieve customer satisfaction and company labor sales objectives. Define training needs for each individual and maintain training files of each individual. Hold bi-weekly service meetings with all service personnel, review all bulletins and updates from OEM's, solicit any service problems from employees' which are company related. Perform yearly evaluations one on one with each service employee. Produce a profitable department and control expenses. Review monthly financial statements to measure the results and control of your department.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools
  • Organizational skills including the ability to manage personnel, financials and meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly
  • Exceptional customer service skills based on experience
