The Service Manager position requires intermediate level experience and is responsible for ensuring that business services are available to end users, allowing them to perform their day-to-day operations without interruption of service. This role supports AT&T's most complex and strategic customers by creating a broader and deeper relationship with the customer and owning the customer service experience. The position involves working across multiple technical organizations and partnering with others in service management, sales, and service delivery.

  • Receive and process client reports via maintenance ticketing systems: BMP, AOTS, and WFA/C.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot alarmed conditions of issues.
  • Independently and/or collaboratively restore service.
  • Communicate status across organizations and manage administrative roles related to tickets and work requests.
  • Drive and perform resolution of routine and/or complex issues across environments.
  • Work with technical liaisons to keep clients informed of issues and provide plans and timelines for resolution.
  • Serve as a pivotal role during customer crisis issues, accountable for all customer issues.
  • Concentrate on process improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues with the authority to escalate as necessary.
  • Use online tools to extract, analyze, and customize data for stewardship reports.
  • Promote the use of online servicing tools with customers.
  • Provide input to Sales for request for proposal development or presentation support.
  • Develop and maintain customer-specific service guides.
  • Manage service action plans to correct recurring or longstanding service issues.
  • Exhibit exceptional skills in written and verbal communications and customer interactions.
  • Intermediate level technical professional.
  • Subject matter technical knowledge within a discipline.
  • Sound understanding of AT&T technologies.
  • Experience in quoting and sales queries.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
