About The Position

Requirements

  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound business sense with the ability to analyze and implement solutions.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.
  • Two years related experience in automotive service management.
  • Completion of a two-year college or technical school program recommended.
  • Current, valid driver's license issued in state of residence.
  • Equipment Safety Certification.
  • ASE Certification C1 - Service Consultant required.
  • State Inspection License required.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certification P2 - Parts Specialist recommended.
  • ASE Certification G1 - Maintenance and light repair recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures workplace safety is Priority #1 and follows all safety policies.
  • Builds an extraordinary team that delivers a better customer experience.
  • Hires the best associates in the area and develops a superior team.
  • Ensures all associates complete required LMS training and vendor training.
  • Ensures all associates are T.I.A basic automotive service certified.
  • Conducts structured coaching sessions for career path development.
  • Schedules the team to meet customer needs during all hours of operation.
  • Communicates effectively with the team through daily huddles and bi-monthly meetings.
  • Monitors email for customer appointments and communication.
  • Trains and supports the 5 for 5 process for customer education.
  • Controls dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians.
  • Attends off-site meetings and training sessions as needed.
  • Ensures satisfactory maintenance and appearance of the facility and equipment.
  • Manages daily preparation of location and service desk.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the service department and customer areas.
  • Enforces compliance with the service Code of Ethics and regulations.
  • Communicates with management to ensure compliance with service standards.
