About The Position

In this role, you are responsible for the total on-site maintenance operations of the community and for leading the efforts of the service team. This includes ensuring that the physical aspects of the community meet the company's established standards for safety, appearance, and operation within the budgeted financial goals. You will be tasked with maintaining a professional and positive attitude towards residents and all team members at all times, while complying with the company's operating and safety policies and procedures. Additionally, you will adhere to federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the operations of the community and fair housing regulations. Your primary duties will include recruiting, hiring, and training qualified applicants for the team, responding within 48 hours to all service requests, and following up on all service requests to ensure the highest quality of customer service. You will also maintain the highest standards of the physical condition of the community, implement an ongoing preventive maintenance plan for the site, and coordinate with the property manager regarding the maintenance schedule for contractors involved in the make-ready process. Furthermore, you will manage and inspect all make-ready inventory to ensure it meets move-in quality and company standards, while possessing inventory control to assist in achieving the property's annual budget. As a leader, you will identify the needs for training and motivation for all staff members, maintain good communication and listening skills, and uphold all company policies, goals, and values.
