About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, deep technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service management role, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of service processes.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of service technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize service department operations and improve efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and find innovative solutions to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed by the service team.
  • Oversee the scheduling of service appointments, dispatching technicians, and managing resources to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor the performance of service technicians, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide ongoing development opportunities to team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of required spare parts and materials for service operations.
  • Prepare and analyze service-related reports, including key performance indicators, to evaluate departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in service management.
