About The Position

The position involves maintaining facilities through light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work. The individual will provide general maintenance support to various sites, which includes painting, building or repairing structures, interiors, shelving, cabinets, and performing cleaning and other basic maintenance tasks. Additionally, the role requires maintaining store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance. The employee will facilitate repairs by contacting service vendors for materials and will maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Participation in training for existing and new equipment is required, along with other duties as assigned. The employee is expected to contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, and use hand/electric carts.
• Able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration, or General Maintenance field.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.
