About The Position

Earnhardt Hyundai Avondale is looking to hire a seasoned Technician for our busy service department. Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have a current and valid domestic driver's license (AZ preferred) with a clean driving record. NO Sundays or evening shifts required! Requirements

• Vocational education
• Working as a Service Mechanic; with proven success on the job
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience
• ASE certified is a plus
• Working for a new-car franchise automotive dealership (or group)
• Using DMS such as CDK
• Hyundai background preferred

Responsibilities

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Perform work specified on the repair order with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Stay up to date on most current technology, requirements and processes regarding service repairs
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed and if so, the time needed to complete the additional repairs
