Job Summary: The Automotive Service Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining organization, safety, and efficiency within the service drive and dealership lot. This role supports the Service Department by transporting, parking, staging, cleaning, and preparing customer and inventory vehicles while ensuring a positive customer experience. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional phone etiquette and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in the service drive in a professional and courteous manner
  • Safely move, park, and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles
  • Maintain organized flow of vehicles in service lanes, parking lots, and storage areas
  • Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle staging and positioning
  • Perform visual inspections for damage and document as required
  • Install protective coverings (seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers)
  • Shuttle vehicles between dealership locations if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of service drive, lot, and parking areas
  • Monitor lot for safety hazards and report concerns immediately
  • Ensure keys are properly tagged and secured according to dealership policy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Report any safety issues, equipment defects, or hazards immediately to management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, scripts, and customer service standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct consistent with dealership standards.
  • Support management initiatives related to revenue growth, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and represent the dealership professionally at all times.
  • Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping expectations.
  • Complete all required training, certifications, and compliance courses on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
