About The Position
Tonkin Mazda of Portland, one of Portland’s leading automotive dealerships, is looking for a reliable, hardworking Porter/Custodian to join our Reconditioning Department. This in-person role offers a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a respected dealership while supporting daily operations that keep our service and reconditioning teams running efficiently. Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving vehicles throughout the day
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform lot porter duties including moving, staging, and organizing vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reconditioning and service areas
- Clean oil spills and assist with general shop and facility upkeep
- Support the parts department by pulling and delivering parts to technicians
- Assist with receiving and organizing inventory
- Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and ready for technicians
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Support team members with additional operational tasks as needed
