The Service Logistics Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data across ERP (SAP) and CRM (ServiceMax) Systems. This role manages Field Service Engineer (FSE) trunk inventory integrity, monitors system interface message queues, and resolves transactional errors through root cause analysis and corrective actions. The analyst performs regular reconciliations, defines key data quality indicators, and supports master data governance initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include administering Financial Control activities, managing user access for service personnel, implementing problem management processes, and driving projects focused on error reduction and data quality improvement. This position plays a critical role in maintaining system health and enabling seamless service operations. This position is located at our Lake Forest, CA location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP ERP (including IDoc monitoring, data reconciliation, and interface troubleshooting).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Service Management platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools for reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial controls and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of master data management and data governance principles.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve system interface errors and recommend process improvements.
  • Proficiency in reporting and metrics analysis for transaction and error trends.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with inventory management processes, preferably in a field service environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor ERP-Service Management System data synchronization to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Review and resolve interface message queue errors (IDocs) in Technical Services systems.
  • Investigate root causes of interface or transaction errors and apply corrective actions.
  • Escalate unresolved system issues through appropriate support channels.
  • Perform daily checks on CRM and ERP transaction data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Track and report daily metrics on transaction volumes, interface statuses, and error codes.
  • Maintain and update key data quality indicators to monitor system health.
  • Support user access management (UAM) activities for Field Service personnel.
  • Collaborate with field teams on inventory-related issues and service order corrections.
  • Document and communicate recurring issues for problem management and process improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing projects aimed at reducing errors and improving data governance.
