About The Position

Mercedes Benz of Fort Washington has been keeping busy, and we are now hiring a Service Lane Manager for our growing service department. The Service Lane Manager will assist with managing the work flow and customer operations of the service department. The Service Lane Manager will partner with other service employees to ensure the highest level of customer service.

Requirements

• Prior experience in fast paced customer service environment
• Working knowledge of basic car functions, characteristics, and operations and/or prior Service Advisor experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
• Must have some previous car dealership experience

Responsibilities

• Support the transportation department, including checking loaner vehicles in and out and cleaning vehicles as needed
• Greet and assist clients arriving for service and those picking up their vehicles
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the parking lot and service lane
• Perform quality control checks on vehicles prior to customer pickup (cleanliness, basic visual inspection, and minor repairs as applicable)
• Assist clients with pairing phones to vehicles and other light customer support duties
• Provide general assistance to the service team as needed
