About The Position

Comfort Systems USA - Intermountain Inc. is currently seeking a Service Installer. This individual is responsible for the installation of residential and commercial HVACR systems, utilizing knowledge of equipment application, refrigeration theory, duct design and layout, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts. Job functions and duties (other duties may be assigned) HVAC Installation. Work under supervision to complete assignments and gain knowledge of products/processes. Safety Minded. Aware of the many potential hazards associated with our industry. Active Learning Skills. Understanding the essential need of new information and pursuing on-going training. Good communication skills. Good listener with complete tasks as instructed to help negotiate complex problems and deliver competent customer service solutions in an honest and believable manner. Team Minded. Enjoys helping others to succeed.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or 5 years equivalent experience
  • Ability to comprehend simple written and vocal instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid driver's license
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands and fingers to reach, feel, grasp and manipulate; and be able to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include the ability to see well up close and at a distance, the ability to distinguish colors, good peripheral vision and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight travel.

Nice To Haves
