About The Position

The Automotive Service Greeter at Jaguar & Land Rover San Francisco is responsible for welcoming and assisting customers who bring their vehicles in for service. This role serves as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all customers while managing service appointments and vehicle intake processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on courtesy, professionalism, and empathy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival, making them feel welcome and valued.
• Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and availability, ensuring optimal efficiency for the service department.
• Gather necessary information about the customer's vehicle and service requirements, including mileage, previous service history, and specific concerns.
• Perform a basic inspection of the vehicle, noting any visible damage or issues that may require additional attention.
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including service orders, customer information forms, and warranty claims.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service department, ensuring a positive customer experience.
