Job Responsibilities: · Greet incoming customers and assist them out of their vehicles. · Provide service advisors with customer information when they arrive. · Assist in transferring customer belongings between vehicles. · Keep service drive area clean and stocked with supplies. · Shuttle service customers as needed. · Pull service vehicles around during pick up. · Take out trash. · Check and adjust tire pressures. · Help customers with vehicle concerns. · Greet customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner. · Cash out and go over customer invoices as needed. · Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; record and amount received. · Make change and issue receipts to customers. · Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers. · Reconciles cash drawer daily. · Work with department managers to keep up to date with new products ,services offered, features , value and any changes in pricing. · Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased or refer them to someone who can. · Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution. · Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed. · Acts as backup to switchboard operator. · Maintains a professional appearance. · Keeps work area neat and clean. · Other tasks as assigned.
