About The Position

Toyota of Springfield, part of the Lithia & Driveway (LAD) family, is looking for a dedicated and energetic Service Greeter to join our Express Lube Department. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the fastest-growing automotive groups in the country—where you’ll work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and play a key role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional service experience from start to finish. What You’ll Do: As a Service Greeter, you’ll be the first friendly face our customers see when they arrive for service. You’ll help organize and direct approximately 100 customers a day into the appropriate service lanes and assist with a variety of support tasks, including:

  • Friendly and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in customer information and vehicle data.
  • Dependable and team-oriented, always ready to step in and support colleagues.
  • Comfortable being active throughout the day and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Communication skills – communicate effectively with others
  • This role requires being on your feet most of the day and working outdoors in all types of weather—rain, sun, heat, or cold—so a strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential
  • Time Management – ability to manage one’s own time
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

  • Previous automotive or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Ensuring customers are directed to the appropriate lane for service.
  • Collecting and verifying customer contact information to maintain accurate records.
  • Checking lifetime oil change eligibility and confirming any open recalls that may need to be scheduled or completed.
  • Communicating effectively with both customers and the service team to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance throughout the day.
