About The Position

Job Summary: The Service Field Tech follows work orders and instructions in order to accurately and efficiently repair and assemble building components on our homes. Responsibilities: Repair flooring, ceramic tile, cabinets, trim, drywall, light fixtures, roofing or any other repair as needed. Maintain truck and tools are in working order Maintain accurate work records and logs Provides customers and coworkers with a remarkable experience Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties Follows work orders and instructions on correct service duties Maintains open communication with supervisor Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed

Requirements

• Must have a good driving record and no criminal record
• Construction experience in flooring, trim, cabinets, ceramic tile, drywall, roofing and finish electric.
• Ability to walk, climb and lift loads of at least 70 lbs.
• Always maintain a professional appearance
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks, attention to detail and self-management
• Effective planning and organization skills
• Consistently provide excellence in Customer Service
• Strong communication skills, patience and empathetic outlook
• Subject to drug and background test
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Possess basic construction knowledge and comfortable using basic tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve in a high-volume
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary
• You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members
• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a significant degree
• Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment
