About The Position
The current vacancy is for a Service Field Crew Leader for Harvey West Pool in the Recreation Division of the Parks and Recreation Department. The eligibility list established from this recruitment may be used to fill other Field Crew Leader vacancies during the life of the list. The eligibility list established from this recruitment is valid for up to one year from the date established unless the list is extended or abolished by the Human Resources Director. Under direction, the Service Field Crew Leader supervises and actively participates in the work of crews performing assignments in the construction, maintenance, and repair of city streets and city facilities such as the Civic Auditorium, Harvey West Pool, and other recreation facilities; the maintenance and repair of city buildings and wharf facilities and adjacent public spaces; supervises and actively participates in the work of crews performing assignments at the Resource Recovery Facility or in the Parking Attendant and Parking Maintenance divisions; and performs related duties as assigned.
