This position reports to the Service & Training Manager. B&R is seeking a Service Engineer to join our U.S. team. You'll be hands-on in the field, executing onsite engineering work safely and efficiently while delivering top-tier customer support. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you'll tackle real-world challenges, uncover new service opportunities, and keep things moving. Every day brings something new, keeping the work dynamic, engaging, and full of learning. The work model for the role is: # LI - Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation - B&R/Machine Automation division in Roswell, GA and across the US. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.

  • Apply safety and environmental best practices, report unsafe conditions, and drive a strong safety culture.
  • Plan and perform service work that meets or exceeds customer expectations, respond with urgency, and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliability.
  • Perform and support engineering tasks onsite and remotely, resolve technical challenges, and implement high-impact solutions.
  • Write, re-code, and recommend application improvements that boost system performance and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to peers or customers and actively share knowledge to build team capability.
  • Refer service-related opportunities to the sales team, helping to grow customer accounts.
  • Prepare accurate material lists and ensure required parts are available and ready for job execution.
  • Complete and submit all reports accurately and on time and use digital tools to track work and follow up.
  • Lead with a 'first-time right' approach, seek process improvements, and share ideas that enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • This position will require travel 50% -75%.

  • Experience with industrial PLC.
  • Experience with computers and industrial networks.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or an industrial automation company.
