About The Position

The role of a Service and Engagement Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of guest service fundamentals, experience building a guest first team culture and driving loyalty programs. No two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include leading a team of passionate and knowledgeable Guest Advocates, Service Advocates and Front of Store Attendants who strive to exceed guest service expectations. You will also support Target Loyalty Programs and engage in consistent, meaningful development conversations throughout the critical touch points within the team's career path.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle cash register operations and cash transactions.
  • Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.

  • Knowledge of retail business fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches.
  • Lead a team of Guest Advocates and Service Advocates to exceed guest service expectations.
  • Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on store sales goals.
  • Support Target Loyalty Programs and educate team on benefits.
  • Engage in development conversations with team members.
  • Quickly respond to guest concerns and de-escalate situations.
  • Ensure team members stay up-to-date on promotions and events.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.
  • Model creating a welcoming experience for guests.
  • Lead a culture of ethical conduct and compliance.
