Role Summary The Service Desk Specialist provides front-line technical support that keeps colleagues connected, productive, and secure. In this role, you’ll resolve a wide range of technical issues while delivering high-touch support to both colleagues and executive leadership. You’ll grow your skills across hardware, software, and customer service within a collaborative IT team.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Less than 2 years of technical service desk or related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of technical service desk or related experience.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, ITIL, or HDI.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Level 1 technical support for onsite and remote colleagues across devices, applications, and network services.
  • Provide concierge-level desk-side and virtual support for executive leadership, including video conferencing assistance.
  • Troubleshoot, document, and resolve incidents clearly while guiding non-technical users through solutions.
  • Install, configure, and reinstall software on end-user devices as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards, including DLP, encryption, malware prevention, and secure email practices.
  • Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to escalate and resolve urgent or complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
  • Follow up with colleagues to confirm resolution and ensure a positive support experience.
