About The Position

As the first point of contact for members and visitors, the Service Desk Representative serves as a welcoming guide, ensuring every interaction is professional, positive, and helpful. This role is essential in creating an exceptional experience by connecting visitors to the right team members or departments to assist with financial questions, transactions, and goals. This part time position earns a competitive minimum starting hourly rate of $15.50. Requirements

  • Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills across various channels.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confidential information responsibly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Up to six months of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage members/visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Ensure visitors are connected to the appropriate person or department and keep them informed about wait times and available options.
  • Communicate effectively through multiple channels: face-to-face, email, phone, written, and video.
  • Assist with basic services such as ATM transactions, coin machine operations, and general inquiries.
  • Perform administrative tasks including maintaining reports, sorting mail, and handling member documents.
  • Participate in the Quick Response Team, responding to emergencies and assisting first responders when needed. Training includes first aid, CPR, AED use, and protocols for inclement weather or accidents.
