About The Position

The Service Desk Associate is responsible for responding to the needs of all members at the Cooper Fitness Center. Their primary role is to coordinate check-ins and customer service needs on a regular basis. Currently seeking to fill 2-3 shifts per week (10-15 hours).

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service environment (hotel, spa, fitness, or retail).
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Strong ability to recommend and educate the clientele on programs and services.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • CPR Certification required or complete within 30 days upon hired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service to members, guests, vendors, and fellow teammates.
  • Respond to customer comments and questions in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for answering and directing calls on a multi-line phone.
  • Responsible for processing point of sale transactions, laundry distribution to members, reserving tennis courts, private Pilates and other classes, locked locker and other locker room issue resolution.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality work environment; including having a high level of teamwork and cooperation as well as strong communication.
  • Support the mission statement and core values.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating clientele in these areas.
  • Attend all mandatory staff meetings and service related events.
  • Enforce CFC rules (i.e. shirts, closed toed shoes required, phone policy, kids policies).
  • Follow all policies and procedures for Cooper Fitness Center as designated by the Service Manager and policy and procedures manual.
  • Other duties as assigned.
