About The Position

The Service Desk Analyst at Company 3 is responsible for providing comprehensive end-user support for applications, software, network infrastructure, and computing devices. This role involves troubleshooting escalated issues, coordinating with vendors, and directly assisting users to ensure smooth operations within the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in a desktop support role or equivalent education.
  • Ability to independently run projects and related tasks.
  • Expertise in Macintosh hardware and OSX software and Windows PC OS Software.
  • Experience with installation of software and troubleshooting both Windows and Mac OS platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise supported technologies including VoIP, TCP/IP, DHCP, Office 365, and AD.
  • Knowledge of LAN and WAN systems and topology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a post-production environment.
  • Experience working with Office 365 for PC and MAC and other Microsoft products.
  • Understanding of enterprise supported tool kits, including Imaging software and Security End-point software.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Performing software updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Providing in-person and remote support for a range of technical issues.
  • Providing guidance and training to users on effective use of computer systems and applications.
  • Maintaining an inventory of computer hardware, software, and related equipment.
  • Tracking and managing the lifecycle of computer assets.
  • Assisting with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to computer systems and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Providing recommendations on hardware and software upgrades or replacements.
  • Ensuring that computer systems and software are secure and comply with organizational policies.
